Spring already?

It's the MidWest. It's December. This is more like what we get in the spring. What the heck?! The ice in my yard and pastures are now mud and the creek is FLOODED.

A Tornado Watch for the St. Louis area until noon.
A Flash Flood Watch has been posted until this evening.
Showers are likely in St. Louis and east this morning but isolated severe storms are possible west through 7am.
Most of the rest of the morning and early afternoon we can expect scattered showers and a few thunderstorms but from mid afternoon through mid evening strong to severe storms are likely as a cold front makes its way across the area.

Ahead of the cold front record warm temperatures in the low 70s are likely by the middle of the day.

We have lovely weather here at the log house and great skiing snow up at the resorts.

A. di....we've gotten zero snow...just ice and sleet. I'd gladly take your 14" of snow over this crappy ice. It's darn near 60 today and I"m starting to wonder how much of a real winter we'll see.

Kathy...Yeah, I know. And you have gorgeous green grass, too. I have mud, so there! Ha!

Sona...it's bizarre. I think the region is slowly becoming tropical.
