Sometimes, being a mom SUCKS

Ahhh...drama drama drama. I love it! It keeps my blood pumping and the little voice inside my head screaming "Why the HELL did you ever want to be a mom in the first place? What were you thinking?"

Unruly got kicked off the bus today. For coloring on the seats. And crawling around on the floor under the seats. And hitting two other students. And general mayhem created by her highness of bad behavior.

AHHHHH!!!!! Can I move now? I'd like a nice little one room cottage in the woods somewhere. And that cottage will have a great big sign on the front door proclaiming, in big red block letters: "NO KIDS ALLOWED. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. EVER."

What am I going to do with this kid? I've run out of ideas to convince her to behave on the bus. I don't know what else to do, I really, really don't. Fortunately I was able to work out a deal with my boss so I don't have to take any time off to drop the little hellion off at school and pick her up, but still, it's a pain in the ass. At least she's only suspended from the bus for two days, as long as she keeps her little butt in the seat and her hands to herself.

Some days I feel like I just can't do it any more. I can't keep up with the discipline and the behavioral issues. I am so tired of feeling like I've spent my day disciplining my children or having talks about appropriate behavior with them and have not a single word get through their bratty little brains. I just want to do fun things with them, hang out with them and not feel like I'm having to constantly be in " big, mean, ugly ogress mode" because they've been horrible little spawns of the devil.

Hello? Wild? Unruly? Yeah, this is your mom speaking. I QUIT. Make your own stinkin' dinner.

I used to fantasize about adoption...

Personally, I like to fantasize about running away from home. Leaving both the boy and the hubby behind. Well, maybe coming back for my favorite pair of shoes... When I know they aren't home. heehee.

Oh yes, adopting the little buggers out and running away from home have BOTH crossed my mind more than once. I even contemplated packing a bag to be ready to run at a moment's notice.
