Oh, the temptation!

I know this man's pain. The sweat, the overwhelming heat, the desire to just throw all your clothes off and breeze around the neighborhood in the buff.

Priest Nabbed While Running Nude

FREDERICK, Colo. - A Catholic priest faces an indecent exposure charge after jogging in the nude about an hour before sunrise.
The Rev. Robert Whipkey told officers he had been running naked at a high school track and didn't think anyone would be around at that time of day, a police report said.
He told officers he sweats profusely if he wears clothing while jogging. "I know what I did was wrong," he said in the report.
Whipkey did not return phone messages. His attorney, Doug Tisdale, told the Daily Times-Call of Longmont that Whipkey had no comment.
Whipkey, 53, was arrested around 4:30 a.m. June 22 in this town about 20 miles north of Denver.
The Archdiocese of Denver said it takes the incident seriously but is awaiting the outcome of the case. Whipkey remains an active priest.
If convicted of indecent exposure, a misdemeanor, he would have to register as a sex offender, prosecutors said.

Male or female, certain body parts just NEED support while jogging in one's 50s! ; even with the heat and sweat and wet clothes; painful to the jogger and unlucky bystander

Oh, I agree...and some of those body parts need support even in one's 30s. At least he did it at 4:30 a.m. so there weren't TOO many unlucky bystanders!

I have three words for Mr. Whipkey: Get a treadmill.

The best part of the story is that he's named "Whipkey."

I think he was secretly hoping to be caught. Or at least watched.

I can't imagine running naked. I don't need my boy parts whip-whapping around like that.

Whipkey...LOL...
I can't believe though that you have to registar as a sex offender if you are caught naked..I mean there are places where you can be nude legally..he broke that law. Someone that is a sex offender..that isn't legal ANYWHERE! You know what I mean?

Are we sure he wasn't actually running from someone at ended up at a track when he was discovered? More investigation needed, Jenn and Jim!

Marriage-101...good idea, but then he might miss out on the voyeur aspect of jogging nude.

Ninja...I would have to same the same about girl-parts...some things just need to be covered when one is running.

MP...I agree. A lot of times the black and white of our laws leave no room for gray. Which is unfortunate in cases like Mr. Whipkey. Being nude shouldn't be a crime. It's just a body, after all. And everyone has one.

Wendy...Hmmm....maybe someone stole his clothes and he was chasing them to get them back! Lunch was a bust, dammit...but I am comforted to know (or at least be told) that hubby's Hooter waitress was wearing a regular-sized t-shirt and was pregnant. :P

Jenny....Yes, yes they are. I'm getting more of a kick out of the comments than I did from Mr. Whipkey's antics!
